MEDITATION WANDS
Scientists and physicists now know beyond the shadow of a doubt, that We human beings are not in fact physical, but are instead, made of pure energy. Pure energy arranged in such a manor as to trick us into believing in the illusion that we are merely physical instruments.
Who's doing the tricking is a subject for another day. For the purpose of discussing the possible benefits of these meditation wands, knowing we are made of energy -- electrical energy -- will go a long way.

For starters, the wands are made from copper wire, magnets set in opposition to each other, and Tibetan crystals. All three conduct/absorb energy. How can you go wrong? I use the wand to help focus energy within and without during meditation.
It's important to have a favorite place outside, next to the oldest tree in the park or your own back yard. (Must I have to say; not on rainy, thunderstormy days?) Take off the shoes, greet/touch the tree. After stretching, sit upon the earth and imagine your Root Chakra entering the earth, to connect directly with the Spirit Earth.
Hold the wand about stomach height - horizontal to your body - handle down, with one hand on its handle, the other over the crystal. Focus on energy flowing up from the Earth, through your body, through your hands and the wand swirling around the coil, the crystal, and on up through the top of your head.

It's about getting the healing energy of the Earth to swirl around as it flows through and around your body. I can't make promises about healing or any other benefits besides what I have experienced myself. That's why I started creating them in the first place, for myself. Then someone asked if they could buy one from me, and he used it. And then another.

They are a little pricy -- I guess, but it's not for everyone. I have to make each one by hand, it takes two to three months (an extra month just to get the crystal), and it's impossible to mass produce them.

FUNCTIONAL HIGH-END ART
From the moment I began creating copper wire sculptures thirty-six years ago, I've wanted to add color within the negative spaces. Not all of them, but a hint of color here, texture there, but the problem always remained -- how to incorporate/shape the color to the right dimensions?
​
Suddenly, it seemed... three years ago I began seeing Youtube videos popping up with artist grade epoxy resin art projects. The lights switched on. Then I had a dream one night, seeing the entire process from beginning to end, including the need to hand-sew each of the panels onto the copper wire sculpture frames.
​
Next thing you know, I began to see a lifelong dream coming true before my eyes. if I poured the resin thin enough, light would pass through them.
​
"Chandeliers!" I exclaimed, one night waking from a dream of creating my first piece called, "Flowers In A Basket".
​

WIRE SCULPTURE CREATIONS FROM THE PAST

I have created more than 300 copper armature wire sculptures over the years. Beginning with 12-gauge, working all the way up to 4-gauge, I learned may things about its strengths and weaknesses.
​
Many people ask why I don't use a cheaper metal wire? My response is it has nothing to do with cost.
​
You see, we all know that copper wire has been used from the beginning to carry electrical energy into our homes, offices -- in just about every electrical device made.
​
Well, thought is energy. If I sit and hold a piece of copper wire in my hands and visualize a sculpture or design I wish to undertake, there must be an agreement between myself and the organic substance referred to as copper wire. An imprint of the sculpture I intend to construct, becomes part of the the very sub-atomic particles of the wire by mere intent, and physical contact.

The shape of the design is I believe also the shape of the energy field surrounding the sculpture. A closed energy field that continue to vibrate with the slightest imperceivable breeze.
​
Also the combination of the sculptural lines, with a direct light source create fabulous shadow upon the walls.
HAND-CRAFTED PORTRAITS IN BRONZE

In 1990, a lawyer representing a Charlotte, Albemarle commemoration group asked me to create several
coins with a bas relief of Mr. Albemarle's face on them.
This is when I discovered an exceptional talent for not only sculpting exact likenesses, but I carve a slice of the subjects personality/spirit into my bronze portraits.
My most notable commissions: John Pepper, Pres. Proctor & Gamble, President George H. W. Bush, as a gift to his son Neil Bush, and Herman Williams Jr., C.E.O. of the Municipal Employees Credit Union.
